PcModWin - Multiple Scattering and MS Flux

Problem: For multiple scattering, what is the difference between ms flux at observer and ms flux at H2?

According to Lex Burke:

"The DISORT MS model assumes a plane parallel atmosphere. Thus, a constant solar zenith angle is used for all altitudes. MODTRAN must select a single solar zenith angle along its line-of-sight. With a Satellite scenario, the solar zenith at the sensor may be substantially different from the solar zenith at the ground. Generally, most of the radiation comes from the minimum path altitude. Therefore, you want to use the correct solar angle at that minimum altitude. I hope this explains the input. Regards, Lex"
